Bucks Fizz
Eighties band Bucks Fizz rocketed to success with their stunning win at the Eurovision Song Contest.

The group consisting of members Bobby G, Jay Aston, Mike Nolan, Cheryl Baker and Shelley Preston were formed in 1981 as the band topped to bring British glory to the Eurovision song contest.
Their first number one and debut single was "Making Your Mind Up", the song which had brought the band Eurovision success. A string of hits followed consistently keeping them in the top 20, with several number ones including "Land of Make Believe".
In 1994, Mike Nolan sustained serious injuries in a coach crash cauing him to leave the band. And, in 1985 Jay Aston decided to leave the group. The band continued as a trio, notching up a couple more hits, before finally going there seperate ways. Notably, Cheryl Baker now presents several television shows, including Records Breakers, formerly co-hosted with the late Roy Castle.
