The Big Pineapple was established in 1971 on an old pineapple plantation in coastal Queensland, Australia and has grown in size and number of attractions since. Undoubtedly, the highlight of a visit is to climb the iconic splendour of the pineapple itself. Climbing reveals a magnificent view of the 373 hectare site including the wonderfully kitsch Macadamia "Nutmobile". Other features of the site include the Plantation Train, Rainforest Tour and Harvest Tour.
Due to the sheer volume of tourists who visit the site year on year, the Big Pineapple on Australia's sunshine coast is a true kitsch wonder of the World and at over 30ft tall, it really is the biggest pineapple in the World.
