The seven kitsch wonders of the World are a tongue-in-cheek parody of an original list created in 2000 BC. This list was later developed by Greek Historians around 300 BC and published by Callimachus of Cyrene who wrote "A Collection of Wonders around the World". Sadly, this was destroyed in a great fire and all that remains is hearsay, but the legend lives on.
The original ancient wonders were:
The Great Pyramid of Giza (The only surviving ancient wonder)
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Colossus of Rhodes
The Lighthouse of Alexandria
