Murray as he is affectionately known, has commentated on motor racing for 51 years and for many of those years the formula 1 world championship. He is famous for making "Murray-isms" and is considered, jokingly, as a bad luck charm for fated British drivers!

The now ageing Murray is still going strong, commentating on ITV's Formula One coverage. His passion and enthusiasm have endered him to many and while he keeps threatening to retire, avid fans know that he will never hang up his microphone.
