Paul Daniels
Paul Daniels is best remembered for his magic show but is also a professional magician and member of the magic circle.
Paul Daniels rose to fame after many years of being a member of the Inner Magic Circle being awarded the coveted "Magician of The Year" in 1983. By 1985 he was hosting his hit tv show "The Paul Daniels Magic Show" on BBC prime time television. He also had a number of other television successes.
In the late 1980's Paul moved to BBC childrens television with his magic programme featuring the character "Wizbit". Wizbit performed magic tricks to a giant rabit called "Willy" and a kids audience of thousands.
Debbie McGee was originally Paul's lovely assistant (left, with Paul), but in 1988 he ended up marrying her. Paul's son from his first marriage, Martin Daniels, naturally followed in his father's footsteps to become a magician and all-round entertainer.
Despite a recent comeback presenting "Every Second Counts", Paul has now gone back to his roots, performing stage magic to packed theatres across Britain. He was last featured on the BBC television programme "Ready, Steady, Cook" and was featured in an interview with Louis Theroux.
